The SSU prevented the data leak, and the traitor himself was detained ‘red-handed’ – when he was taking pictures of a military facility.

The agent turned out to be a local resident, a former employee of the executive branch and an active supporter of the banned party of shariy.

Russian special services regularly kept in touch with him. They were interested in the coordinates of not only security institutions and military units, but also administrative buildings of state authorities.

The SSU is verifying if this agent was planning to carry out a number of terrorist attacks in Ukraine. Earlier, he asked the FSB to provide him with weapons and ammunition:

• pistols with silencer and sights;
• rounds in magazines;
• grenades with fuses;
• MON-50 anti-personnel mines with radio detonators.

The agent has been detained and notified of suspicion of a crime under Article 111.2 (high treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
