SSU maritime drones target russian helicopters and aircraft: exclusive footage of Sea Babies special operation in Kerch Bay
Details of the SSU’s new unique special operation have been released. On the night of December 6, a group of SSU’s Sea Baby maritime drones engaged russian helicopters, aircraft and Raptor patrol boats that tried to intercept them. These particular surface drones were produced as a result of a joint fundraiser with UNITED24, monobank, Oleg Gorokhovsky, Serhiy Sternenko and Igor Lachen in February this year.
The russian pilots considered themselves hunters and expected an easy hunt. Instead, they became prey, as the maritime drones returned fire.
The latest Sea Babies were equipped with large-caliber machine guns with ballistic programs for automatic targeting and auto-acquisition.
Intercepted russian radio communications indicate that there are dead and wounded on board the helicopters. The choppers themselves were heavily damaged and now require major repairs.
SSU drones also hit a barge carrying military equipment and tools for the repair of the Crimean bridge, which the occupiers are still trying to fix after previous strikes by Ukraine’s security service.
‘Sea Baby is our multi-purpose platform that can accommodate various weapons: multiple launch rocket systems, flying drones and large-caliber machine guns. The main thing is that it has once again proven its effectiveness. The results of our work are actually much bigger than what we can show now, but everything comes in due time,’ say the representatives of the 13th Main Directorate of the SSU Military Counterintelligence Department.
