The Security Service of Ukraine found a cache with military weapons, hidden in a forest near one of the military facilities deployed in Kherson region.

The law enforcement seized from the cache:

• twelve TNT blocks,
• almost 3 kilos of plastid,
• four F-1 and RGD-5 grenades with fuses,
• electric detonators.

The identified means of destruction are sent for examination.

The investigation upon the fact of unlawful handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives is ongoing to establish and bring to justice all persons involved in the illegal activity.

Information on the illegal transfer of seized explosives from the JFO area is being checked.

The operation was carried out jointly with the National Police and the Novokakhovka Local Prosecutor's Office.
