Luhansk region: SBU uncovers three caches with weaponry

In Luhansk region, the SBU found three caches with weapons arranged by terrorists in the Shchastynskyi district (3-5 km from the contact line).

SBU officers established that militants set up the caches in 2014 during hostilities.

Near the village of Hrechyshkyne, SBU officers found:

  • three shots for PG-7 grenade launcher;
  • 13 GO-2 detonators;
  • seven F-1 and RGD-5 grenades;
  • two mine and grenade fuses;
  • over 1,000 rounds.

In the second shelter, located near the village of Bezhinove, militants stored:

  • five RGN hand grenades;
  • five UZR fuses;
  • seven F-1 grenades;
  • two UZRGM fuses;
  • seven detonators;
  • 160 rounds of 12.7 mm caliber

The third cache, located near the village of Peredilske, contained:

  • 18 artillery shells of 30 mm caliber;
  • eight F-1 grenades;
  • almost 700 rounds of caliber 12.7 mm for machine guns.

All weapons were in combat condition.

The operation was carried out jointly with the State Emergency Service and combat engineers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
