Luhansk region: SBU detects cache of militant involved in blowing up bridge in Pidhorivka
The Security Service of Ukraine has found cache with military destruction means for militants of illegal armed formations in Luhansk region.
So from a cache set up in a treeline near Pisky (Novopskovskyi district) the law enforcement seized two Kalashnikov sub-machine guns and almost three hundred rounds to it.
According to intelligence the cache was set up by the militant of terrorist group, who is involved in blowing up the bridge in Pidhorivka. Currently he is fleeing from justice on the territory temporarily uncontrolled by Ukrainian authorities.
Earlier, SBU officers found another cache of this malefactor. Then an RPG-22 anti-tank grenade, two Kalashnikov sub-machine guns, two RG-42 grenades and a large number of rounds were seized.
In the framework of initiated criminal proceedings the investigations are continuing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring to justice other offenders.
Also, special service operatives detected a cache with an PG-18 anti-tank grenade, 21 devices for AG-9, two rounds for RPG-7 and ammunition near Trokhizbenka. A high-explosive fragmentation tank shell was found near the cache.
The confiscated munitions have been sent for examination.
