The Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, has thwarted a terrorist attack planned by russia’s federal security service (FSB) against the leader of a russian opposition political movement. 

The intended target had arrived in Ukraine to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day. 

Operational and investigative measures are currently underway.
