Five oil refineries, fighter jets, aircraft plant, radar stations and ammunition depots: results of previous week’s SSU special operation
The Security Service of Ukraine is continuing its systematic campaign to undermine russia’s military and economic potential, as approved by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Last week, the SSU carried out successful strikes against enterprises of the military-industrial complex, fuel and energy infrastructure, air defence systems, military airfields, logistics facilities and the occupiers’ depots.
In particular, the following were struck:
Military infrastructure and air defence
- Yevpatoria Aviation Plant (temporarily occupied Crimea) – two hangars used to store aircraft and the plant’s production workshop were struck.
- The Khanskaya military airfield (near Maikop, russia) – the destruction of two Su-35 fighter jets, two L-39 training aircraft, a fuel and lubricants storage facility, and other airfield infrastructure has been confirmed.
- In the Krasnodar region, three Podlyot-K1 radar stations and one Kasta-2E2 radar station, which the enemy uses to detect air targets, have been struck.
Fuel and energy infrastructure
- The Lukoil-Permnaftorgsintez oil refinery (Perm krai, russia) – a major russian oil refinery with a capacity of almost 13 million tonnes per year. Following the strike, a fire broke out at the primary oil refining unit.
- The Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery (Volgograd) –one of russia’s largest oil refineries, with a capacity of around 15 million tonnes of crude oil per year.
- Three oil refineries in Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan) – Bashneft-UNPZ, Bashneft-Novoil and Bashneft-Ufanaftokhim – which form one of the largest oil refining clusters in russia, with a combined capacity of over 23 million tonnes of crude oil per year.
- The infrastructure of the port of Taman (Krasnodar krai), where a large-scale fire broke out following the strike.
Ammunition and fuel and lubricant depots
- Depots of military equipment and ammunition in the settlements of Obryv, Chystyakove (temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region), Mariupol (temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region) and Krasnoperekopsk (temporarily occupied Crimea) have been destroyed.
- Fuel and lubricant depots were struck in Gukovo (russia), Marynivka, Lagidne (temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region), Volnovakha (temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region) and Pyatykhatky (temporarily occupied Crimea).
