Law enforcement agencies urge citizens to be especially vigilant on Easter

Law enforcement agencies urge citizens to be especially vigilant on Easter - the enemy can carry out provocations.

Russian propaganda has spread statements about possible acts of violence against believers during Easter holidays and church services in Ukraine.

Thus, the russian mass media are already preparing grounds for provocations by the russian army and in advance shifting responsibility for them onto representatives of ‘nationalist groups’.

The enemy is mean enough to arrange provocations even on Easter - one of the greatest Christian holidays.

Therefore, we urge Ukrainians to be especially vigilant during this period.

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police will make every effort to ensure safety.

However, citizens should keep in mind that the war is ongoing in our country and that the enemy is ready to take actions of any kind against civilian population. The enemy also has no respect for churches and temples, as has been confirmed by numerous bombings of such sites.

In this regard, we encourage citizens to refrain from mass gatherings in religious buildings, and church leaders to minimize the number of those present at festive services.

We also ask you to follow curfew rules set by civil administrations in each region.
