In this fierce and difficult war, which divided our lives into ‘before’ and ‘after’ February 24, true Heroes and Defenders come to the fore. Men and women who prove every day with their professionalism, patriotism and strength of morale that Ukraine will definitely win.

For 28 years, you, the SSU’s special force, have been working, training and improving, detaining criminals, gaining combat experience and creating your own traditions – in order to use all your skills to defend Ukraine today.

You are where it is the hardest - at the frontline. Where steel and concrete breaks, but Ukrainian Heroes bravely stand.

Due to specifics of our efforts, we cannot always speak publicly about outcomes of your work, but we know that they are extremely important for our country. And all the Ukrainian people are grateful to you for your service!

Today, many have to sacrifice their lives to bring peace to Ukraine as soon as possible. And we keep the memory of the officers of the Special Operations Center ‘A’ who lost their lives and grieve every loss.

But the whole country also knows - no matter how difficult it is, you will not back down and will fulfil the task.

I sincerely wish you strength and inspiration, God’s protection and good luck. Let each of you return to your families alive and unharmed. And let the prayers of your relatives be heard!
