SSU seizes another portion of Marchenko’s assets worth UAH 740 mln

Following the SSU’s investigation, the court seized Oksana Marchenko’s shares in 7 port infrastructure companies in Odesa oblast.

The arrested assets include corporate rights in Eximnaftoprodukt JSC, Syntez Oil PJSC, Syntez Transit PJSC, Ukrloudsystem LLC, Odesnaftoprodukt JSC, Black Sea Fuel Terminal PJSC, and Albion Commodities LLC.

Marchenko, Medvedchuk’s wife, owned stakes in these companies through several offshore entities.

The total value of the blocked assets is almost UAH 740 mln (USD 19.8 mln).

The seizure of these properties and rights will protect them from re-registration to fictitious persons and will help transfer them to the state in the future.

These companies are strategically important for transportation of fuel and other critical cargo through the Black Sea.

As has been informed earlier, Oksana Marchenko is a suspect in a case on financing russian occupation groupings.

The SSU has served her a notice of suspicion under Article 110-2.3 of the CCU (financing actions committed with the aim of forceful change or overthrow of constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of boundaries of the territory or the state border of Ukraine).

The crime is punishable by up to 8 years in prison.

The investigation is underway.

The SSU Office in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast is conducting the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
