SSU seizes Rosneft assets in Ukraine and neutralizes enemy’s agent network operating as ‘cossack’ organization (video)
The following report includes details of recent operations of the SSU.
The SSU blocked the activities of a russian-controlled energy company located in Ukraine.
It was established that this electricity supplying company was part of the kremlin’s industrial and financial group Rosneft.
The profits were transferred to russia to finance hostilities against Ukrainian troops.
Basing on the SSU files, monetary assets of the russian commercial structure in the amount of over UAH 20 mln (USD 680,000) have been seized.
In addition, the SSU has sent proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on nationalization of property of the blocked enterprise and jointly with the state regulator suspended the license to supply electricity to our state.
The taken measures will not affect the stability of the energy sector and end users of utilities in Ukraine.
In Kharkiv region:
The SSU dismantled an enemy agent network, which operated under the guise of a pro-russian ‘cossack’ organization. Its participants publicly supported russia’s full-scale aggression and justified the occupiers’ crimes.
One of the organizers of the group was detained in a special operation. The traitor provided the invaders with intelligence on the location and movement of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and on the impact of the enemy’s shelling in the region.
In Chernihiv region:
The SSU uncovered a network of weapon caches set up by the occupiers during their retreat from the region.
Almost 300 items of hidden russian ammunition were seized in one of the villages of Mena Territorial Community including GRAD shells, grenade launcher shells, artillery detonators, and dynamic protection for tanks.
A cache of ammunition for self-propelled artillery was found on the territory of a children’s health resort.
In a forest strip near one of the villages of Chernihiv district, 20 boxes with shells for a hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers were also found.
In addition, the SSU located a weapon cache of the enemy’s sabotage group. It was equipped in a garage in one of the towns of the region.
During the search, the law enforcement seized:
- two infantry flamethrowers;
- 12 F-1 grenades and over 2,000 rounds of ammunition for firearms.
All uncovered munitions were handed over to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Luhansk region:
Director of Starobilsk District Employment Center was exposed on collaboration with the enemy. While in office, he encouraged his subordinates to help and support the aggressors.
During the temporary occupation of the city, the traitor joined the invaders. He was later appointed head of the so-called ‘Republican Employment Center of LNR in Starobilsk District.’
The collaborator has been notified of suspicion. The SSU is taking measures to detain him and bring him to justice.
In Kirovohrad region:
The SSU detained another traitor. He turned out to be a local who cooperated with the aggressor during his stay in the temporarily occupied territory of Bucha district, Kyiv region.
The traitor informed the enemy on the positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces and location of Ukrainian checkpoints. For this, the occupiers allowed him to loot people’s homes and shops.
During the detention, law enforcement officers seized an RGD-5 grenade, which the suspect got from the invaders.
In Transcarpathia:
Following the SSU investigation, the court convicted an agent of russian special services to 15 years in prison for handing over intelligence to the enemy on the location of Ukrainian troops in Kharkiv. The occupiers used the intel to carry out artillery shelling in the city.
The agent was detained in Uzhgorod, where he arrived following the instructions of his russian curator to gather information on critical infrastructure.
The SSU will continue to identify and neutralize threats to Ukraine’s state security.
