SSU identifies more collaborators who joined ‘russian ministry of internal affairs’ in Kherson region

The SSU continues to expose traitors and collaborators in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Investigators have identified another 6 enemy accomplices who joined the ‘main directorate of the ministry of internal affairs in Kherson region’ established by the occupiers.

The pseudo-unit fulfils kremlin’s instructions to suppress resistance and intimidate residents of temporarily occupied areas. The ‘MIA officials’ carry out mass repressions, persecute and illegally detain citizens.

They use psychological pressure, violence and death threats against victims. The investigation also documented facts of abduction and torture of people.

Following an investigation by the SSU, the ‘officials’ of the occupation ‘MIA directorate’ that have been notified of suspicion of collaboration include:

  • FROLOV Ye.L. – chief of unit for combating organized crime;
  • YAREMENKO A.O. - deputy chief of the training center;
  • CHERNUSHENKO V.V. – chief of unit for professional training, HR directorate;
  • PRYKHODKO V.A. - deputy chief of unit for professional training, HR directorate;
  • TREPETIN V.V. - senior operational officer, unit for crimes against persons;
  • MAZYLKIN M.R. - operational officer, unit for searching for criminals and missing persons.

The SSU has collected all identifying data on each collaborator, documented their criminal activities and established locations and movement routes.

Comprehensive measures are underway to bring each of them to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

The SSU warns: punishment for collaboration with occupiers is inevitable.

The SSU carried out the investigation together with the National Police of Ukraine under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
