The group consisted of three criminals whom russian special services involved in sabotage activities.

The law enforcement found weapons and equipment of russian special forces during the searches.

The seized items include Vintorez marksman rifles with integral suppressors, an anti-tank rocket launcher RPG-18 Mukha and Val assault rifles with integrated suppressors. All these weapons were produced in russia.

They kept the munitions in their households and in garages near Chernihiv.

During the searches, the law enforcement also found:

• a Dragunov sniper rifle with a silencer
• fragmentation grenades
• ammunition for small arms
• optical sights and night vision devices

All the members of the group have been detained. They will be notified of suspicion; the court is to choose a measure of restraint.
