SSU releases new video from special operation ‘Spider Web’: footage shows path of one FPV-drone from taking off to destroying aircraft (video)
The Security Service of Ukraine has released new exclusive video from its special operation Spider Web.
The footage shows the entire flight path of one of the SSU’s FPV-drones from the moment it took off from the roof of a modular house to the destruction of a russian Tu-22M3 strategic bomber at the Belaya airfield.
The video shows the drone flying a considerable distance and entering the airfield unhindered, with smoke rising from the previously hit aircraft.
The SSU carried out strikes on four russian military airfields: Olenya, Ivanovo, Dyagilevo and Belaya. These airfields are bases of the aggressor’s strategic aviation, which regularly strikes peaceful Ukrainian cities.
This operation was led by the Head of the Security Service, Vasyl Maliuk, on the orders of the President of Ukraine, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
The estimated cost of the equipment destroyed as a result of the SSU’s operation Spider Web exceeds USD 7 billion.
The total losses of the enemy’s aviation amount to 41 units, including A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22, Tu-160, An-12 and Il-78 aircraft.
