Today’s exchange is the outcome of the efforts of the Joint Centre for Coordination of Search and Liberation of Prisoners of War, the Coordination Staff for Treatment of PoWs and other institutions that carried out the orders of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The life of every Ukrainian is of the highest value!

The repatriation of fallen defenders of Ukraine also took place. Thanks to the use of specialized carriages of Ukrzaliznytsia, the bodies of the fallen defenders will be delivered in an expedited manner to institutions in several regions, where further identification and other measures will take place.

The fallen soldiers were returned as a result of joint efforts by the Joint Centre for the Coordination of the Search and Liberation of Prisoners of War under the SSU, the Coordination Staff for Treatment of PoWs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, the State Emergency Service, the State Border Guard Service, and other entities of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine.

As noted by the Head of our State, Ukraine expects that the agreements reached during the meeting in Istanbul will be fully implemented.
