Today’s exchange is the outcome of the work carried out by the Joint Centre for Coordination of Search and Liberation of Prisoners of War at the SSU, the Ukrainian Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights, the Coordination Staff for the Treatment of PoWs, and other authorised agencies, which carried out the instructions of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The seven civilians liberated today had previously been detained by the enemy for assisting Ukraine’s Security and Defence Forces.
