SSU serves notice of suspicion to former host of Medvedchuk’s TV channels who supported occupation of Mariupol

The SSU has collected a comprehensive evidence base on the pro-kremlin propagandist Diana Panchenko, who publicly justifies russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

Previously, Panchenko worked and spread anti-Ukrainian narratives at the sanctioned TV channels of Viktor Medvedchuk, suspected of high treason.

After russia launched its full-scale invasion, the former TV presenter supported russian invaders and went to the temporarily occupied Donetsk.

There, she continued to disseminate enemy propaganda in the form of manipulative stories in support of the aggressor state.

To spin destructive content, Panchenko is actively using social media, including those banned in Ukraine.

In her provocative ‘projects’, she supports the occupation of part of Ukraine’s eastern oblasts.

The propagandist also created a so-called ‘documentary’ in which she justifies russia’s war crimes against civilians in Mariupol.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified Diana Panchenko of suspicion under the Article 436-2.3 of the CCU (production and dissemination, including repeatedly and with the use of mass media, of materials justifying russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine).

The SSU is acting to bring the offender to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

The investigation was conducted by the SSU Main Investigation Directorate jointly with the SSU National Statehood Protection Department under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
