SSU serves notice of suspicion to russian singer Chicherina for threatening Ukrainians with Siberian concentration camps

The SSU has collected an evidence base regarding russian singer Yulia Chicherina for supporting russian armed aggression.

On the eve of 2023, the suspect published a video message on her YouTube channel calling on the military of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to surrender to racist captivity.

Yet, the suspect`s speech covered threats to Ukrainian defenders of imprisonment in russian concentration camps, particularly in Siberia.

The mentioned video was then "spread" by the propagandists of the kremlin's central information resources and distributed on the Telegram channels of the "l/dnr" terrorist organizations.

Following the aggressor's terrorist attack in Olenivka, the defendant also came to the temporarily occupied village and gave a concert there, during which she called on local residents to enlist in the ranks of the invaders.

The campaign was followed by "slogans" justifying the temporary occupation of part of Ukraine.

Initiated by the SSU linguistic examination proved the facts of the offender's subversive activities in favor of russia.

On the grounds of collected evidence, the SSU served Chicherina a notice of suspicion under the following articles of the CCU:

  • Part 1 Article 110;
  • Part 1, Part 2 Article 332-2;
  • Article 436;
  • Part 3 Article 436-2.

To recap, in March 2022, the defendant unlawfully arrived in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar and removed the Ukrainian flag from the local city administration building.

Then, on these grounds, law enforcement officers classified her criminal actions under two articles of the CCU:

  • Part 3 Article 110;
  • Part 1 Article 338

The perpetrator is facing life imprisonment.

The investigation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office.
