SSU notifies another 10 collaborators in Donetsk and Luhansk region of suspicion
The SSU has collected evidence of voluntary cooperation of another 10 ‘officials’ with the enemy in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
SSU investigators, in addition to existing charges, notified the ‘mayor’ of Mariupol and his four ‘deputies’ of suspicion of trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine as part of an organized criminal group (Article 28.3, Article 110.2 of the CCU).
Former members of Mariupol City Council from the Opposition Platform – For Life party voluntarily defected to the enemy and are organizing work of occupation authorities.
The indictment in another criminal proceeding under Article 111.2 (treason) and Article 111-1.5 (collaboration) of the CCU against the same ‘officials’ has already been forwarded to court for consideration.
The head of Stanitsa Luhanska military-civilian administration and his two deputies decided to ‘leave’ their positions under occupation.
Having reached an agreement with the enemy, the collaborators not only voluntarily headed the fake ‘administration of Stanitsa Luhanska district of the LNR’, but also tried in every way to prove their loyalty.
It has been established that, resorting to pressure, deception and manipulation, they are forcing locals to work for the occupiers, regularly carry out propaganda work and call to support the aggressor.
They were notified of suspicion of crimes under Articles 28.3 and 111-1.5 of the CCU (voluntarily occupying a position related to performing organizational and administrative functions in illegal authorities created in temporarily occupied territory, including in aggressor state’s occupation administration as part of an organized group).
The head of a structural division of the captured Luhanskgaz also voluntarily agreed to collaborate with the enemy.
To assume the pseudo-position of ‘head’ of ‘Markivka inter-district directorate for operation of the LNR’s Luhanskgaz’, in late March 2022 he handed over all the property of the Ukrainian state-owned enterprise to the invaders.
This ‘official’ ensured uninterrupted gas supply to the administration building, which housed representatives of the ‘occupation authorities’ and illegal armed formations.
The former head of unit of the district Pension Fund in Luhansk region also betrayed her oath.
After the occupation, the official headed the so-called ‘pension fund directorate in LNR’s Novopskov district.’
These two ‘officials’ have been notified of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the CCU).
The SSU Main Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions has been investigating the cases under the procedural supervision of Donetsk and Luhansk Region Prosecutor’s Offices.
