SSU serves suspicion notices to 11 more russian military men for shooting at cars with civilians during Bucha occupation

The SSU has identified 11 more russian military men who committed war crimes during the temporary occupation of part of Kyiv region.

They are servicemen of the 1st platoon of the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th CAA of russia (Kyakhta, Buryatia).

Within the seizure of Motyzhyn village (Bucha district), the malefactors were carrying out the so-called punitive measures.

During one of these raids, the perpetrators were transiting in a column of russian armored vehicles and opened the fire on two cars with civilians.

The enemy shelling resulted in the killing of six Ukrainians, particularly both drivers and passengers.

According to the investigation, the commander of the unit, lieutenant Oleksandr Rybas, was in charge of the criminal actions committed by the russians.

Those who directly performed his instructions were:

  • Lieutenant Serhiy Tykhonkykh;
  • Sergeant Valekh Yeminov;
  • Sergeant Anton Burenok;
  • Junior Sergeant Dmytro Halsanov;
  • Junior Sergeant Vladyslav Matveev;
  • Corporal Roman Igumnov;
  • Corporal Zakhar Petrov;
  • Private Gennadiy Plotnikov;
  • Private Mykola Bushuyev;
  • Soldier Trofim Ivanov.

Given the collected evidence, the SSU has served the offenders a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 28 and Part 2 Art. 438 of the CCU (violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder).

The comprehensive operation was carried out by the SSU in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural supervision of the Kyiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
