The SSU continues to document the crime committed by the organizers of the fake plebiscite in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

SSU investigators collected evidence on another 26 top organizers of the sham referendum in Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

In particular, another three ‘high-ranking officials’ of the occupation administration in Luhansk region are suspected of collaboration:

• Oleksiy KARYAKIN- ‘head’ of the so-called ‘lnr public chamber’;
• Denys MIROSHNYCHENKO – ‘head’ of the so-called ‘lnr people’s council’;
• Dmitry KHOROSHILOV – ‘first deputy head’ of the so-called ‘lnr people’s council.’

These individuals have been notified of suspicion of crimes under two Articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

• 111-1.5 (collaboration);
• 110.2 (trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).

These ‘officials’ ensured the imitation of preparation and conducting of the ‘expression of will’ of the population. These ‘officials’ ensured the imitation of preparation and conducting of the ‘expression of will’ by the population.

The investigation documented that the head of the ‘lnr public chamber’ had sent an appeal to the lnr’s pseudo-head Leonid Pasichnyk with the initiative to hold a ‘referendum’ on the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region on joining the russian federation as an administrative and territorial unit.

In turn, the ‘head of the lnr people’s council’ Miroshnichenko held a meeting of this illegal entity, during which the ‘law’ on ‘referendum’ and the ‘resolution’ on its holding were adopted by voting.

‘First deputy head of the lnr people’s council’ Khoroshilov, together with other ‘deputies’, took part in the meeting and voted for the ‘referendum’.

The individuals in question have repeatedly publicly called for an anti-Ukrainian ‘referendum’ and stated the need to annex part of Ukraine’s territory to russia.

Together with other accomplices of ruscists, they will be held accountable for their actions.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Luhansk and Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Offices.
