SSU serves suspicion notices to three pro-russian agitators, including ROC blogger and Kyiv school teacher
The SSU has collected evidence on another three pro-russian agitators who justified russian armed aggression and war crimes.
All three perpetrators are residents of Kyiv. One of them is a teacher at a Kyiv school, who turned out to be an ideological supporter of the kremlin regime.
After conducting biology lessons, the woman recorded provocative videos and participated in live broadcasts on tiktok, spreading moscow propaganda.
For example, she called russia’s war against Ukraine an ‘internal civil conflict’ and justified russian crimes, including missile and drone strikes on civilian infrastructure.
Another agitator is a local taxi driver, who was waiting for capture of Kyiv and praised putin.
He regularly told his passengers about this during the journeys, as well as to his friends through a messenger app.
Also, a former cleric of moscow patriarchate’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, has been notified of suspicion in absentia. He fled to moscow on the eve of the full-scale war and from there he now publicly calls to support the occupiers.
This blogger-collaborator is Serhiy Komarov. He spins the kremlin narratives about russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
He is using the media resources of the russian Orthodox Church with a total audience of over 20 million users to spread enemy propaganda.
SSU-initiated examinations confirmed the information and subversive activities of the three suspects.
Based on the evidence, SSU investigators served all three persons notices of suspicion under Article 436-2 of the CCU (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
Serhiy Komarov’s criminal actions are additionally qualified under two Articles of the CCU:
- 436 (propaganda of war);
- 111-1.6 (collaboration).
As the latter is hiding in russia, efforts are underway to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine.
The investigations were conducted by the SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural supervision of the prosecutor’s offices.
