SSU declares another 5 collaborators suspects, including Kherson city council official and pseudo-rectors of captured universities

The SSU continues to identify traitors and collaborators in the temporarily occupied territories of southern and eastern Ukraine.

As a result of operational and investigative activities, another five enemy accomplices who voluntarily cooperate with the enemy have been served suspicion notices.

The SSU cyber units have documented criminal actions of the former chief of a division in the Department of Housing and Communal Services of Kherson City Council.

During the occupation, gauleiter Saldo personally offered the official to head the ‘unitary enterprise Khersonteplomerezhi’ established by the aggressor.

While in this ‘position’, the offender organized the so-called ‘inventory’ of the infrastructure facility’s property to transfer it to russian monopolies.

The SSU Counterintelligence exposed two officials of the State Migration Service in Luhansk region who joined the occupation ‘LNR ministry of internal affairs’.

In the fake institution, the offenders are carrying out instructions from moscow – conducting forced passportization of local population.

Another collaborator headed the so-called ‘Kherson University’ during the occupation of the city.

There, she was implementing educational ‘standards’ of the aggressor state and during Kherson’s liberation fled to the Crimea.

The SSU also documented subversive activities of a former lecturer of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who resigned in 2014.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he published an appeal on one of the pro-russian Telegram channels, calling on his former colleagues and cadets to help the aggressor capture Kyiv.

For this, at the end of May 2022, the man was appointed the head of the so-called ‘Makarenko Melitopol University’.

While in his ‘position’, the suspect spread kremlin narratives questioning the existence of Ukrainian statehood.

The investigations are ongoing in the framework of criminal proceedings under the Articles of the CCU:

  • 110 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability);
  • 111 (high treason);
  • 111-1 (collaboration);
  • 111-2 (aiding the aggressor state).

The suspects are hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Comprehensive measures are underway to bring the offenders to justice for crimes against our country.

The investigations were conducted under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
