SSU investigates ‘DNR leaders’ for organizing ‘voting’ for putin in temporarily occupied Donetsk oblast
The SSU has documented new crimes of the leaders of the terrorist organization ‘DNR’, who organized the sham presidential elections in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region.
These are:
- Denis Pushilin – gauleiter of Donetsk;
- Artem Zhoga – one of the heads of putin’s ‘election staff’;
- Vladimir Vysotsky – head of the ‘DNR election commission'.
According to the investigation, the collaborators organized massive falsifications of the local population’s participation in the fake plebiscite.
They also ‘reported’ to moscow on the supposed maximum support for the illegal elections from the residents of the region.
For this purpose, they falsified ‘votes’ in favour of the kremlin leader even from the completely destroyed Avdiivka.
To make it look like a ‘voting’, gauleiter Pushilin came to the city together with the deputy head of the russian presidential administration, Sergey Kiriyenko.
Amid the ruins of Avidiivka, they made a staged ‘video address’ for the russian media supposedly on behalf of local residents, asking to let them join the ‘elections’ of the aggressor state.
Zhoga also formed the leadership of the occupation ‘election commissions’ and personally controlled the results of the ‘voting’.
He gave the relevant instructions to Vysotskyi, who organized door-to-door rounds accompanied by armed invaders. The participants of these ‘raids’ demanded that the ‘necessary’ marks be put in the illegal ballots.
Based on the collected evidence, the SSU notified all three ‘leaders’ of suspicion in absentia under Article 111-1.5 of the CCU (collaboration).
Earlier, the leader of the ‘DNR’ terrorists Pushilin was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison, and his accomplice Zhoga - to 12 years in prison.
The criminals are in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine. Efforts are underway to bring them to justice.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
