SSU serves suspicion notices to three traitors who fired at Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka and Chasiv Yar
The SSU has documented the crimes of another three traitors who fought against the Defence Forces in eastern Ukraine.
After the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, the militants were in the temporarily occupied territories and voluntarily joined the russian army.
Ukrainian defenders captured them during the battles near Avdiivka and Chasiv Yar in March this year. The perpetrators are now in custody.
One of them is a resident of Makiivka who voluntarily joined the 100th separate motorized rifle brigade of the russian armed forces in September 2022 and was appointed a grenade launcher.
The militant equipped enemy firing positions near the village of Nevelske, Pokrovsk district.
Another traitor came to the occupation ‘military enlistment office’ in the temporarily occupied Alchevsk, Luhansk region, at the end of February 2022 and joined the russian army.
The man was enlisted in russia’s 4th separate motorized rifle brigade and sent to the front line near Kreminna and later – Bakhmut.
From there, he was sent to Ivanivske village to storm Ukrainian positions near Chasiv Yar.
Another militant joined the aggressor’s units in June 2022 in the temporarily occupied town of Rovenky, Luhansk oblast.
As a member of the occupation group Storm-Z, he equipped ruscist fortifications near Soledar.
Following the investigation by the SSU Military Counterintelligence and investigators, the enemy ‘servicemen’ have been notified of suspicion under two Articles of the CCU:
- 111 (high treason);
- 111-1.7 (assistance to illegal armed or paramilitary formations of the aggressor state in conducting warfare against the AFU).
The suspects face life imprisonment.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
