Ruscists fled so fast from Kherson region that ‘forgot’ whole arsenals of weapons
In the de-occupied areas of the south of Ukraine, the SSU uncovered a depot with russians’ rocket and artillery ammunition.
The items stored at the site include over 500 artillery shells and ammunition for ‘Grad’ and ‘Uragan’ MRLS, as well as over 100 of anti-tank guided missiles and anti-tank mines.
The occupiers left their arsenal during the retreat due to a rapid Ukrainian counteroffensive on Kherson axis.
The disguised cache with enemy ammunition was located in the culture house of Velyka Oleksandrivka village.
All seized munitions have been handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of operational and investigative activities, the SSU established numerous facts of killing and torture of local residents during the temporary occupation of the area. Through mass executions and torture, the enemy tried to intimidate local population and force them to give up the location of participants of the resistance movement.
Investigators established that the invaders had not allowed the villagers to bury their killed and tortured relatives at the cemetery. For this purpose, people had to use yards of their own households.
The SSU also documented the fact of abduction of a resident of the village – ruscists ‘accused’ the woman of adjusting the shelling of their positions.
On the territory of the local garage cooperative, the SSU found the invaders’ ‘service station.’ There, russians brought cars stolen from locals and disassembled them for spare parts to take them further to russia.
The SSU is acting to hold the perpetrators to account.
The SSU documented the occupiers’ crimes together with the unit of the National Police in Kherson region.
