SSU, together with Defence Forces, hits Kirishinaftorgsintez oil refinery and Kirishi oil pumping station in Leningrad region, russia
Carrying out the tasks set by the President of Ukraine, the SSU Alfa Special Operations Centre, together with the Defence Forces (SOF and Unmanned Systems Forces), has successfully struck oil infrastructure facilities in the Leningrad oblast, russia. Fires are burning at the Kirishinaftorgsintez oil refinery, as well as at the Kirishi oil pumping station.
This refinery is one of the three largest in russia and has a capacity of 20-21 million tons of oil per year. The facility accounts for over 6% of russia’s oil refining capacity. The oil pumping station is one of the key sites ensuring the supply of oil and petroleum products for export through the port of Primorsk.
As a result of the SSU’s drone attack on Kirishinaftosintez, hits were recorded on three AVD units responsible for primary oil refining. A fire is ongoing. A tank containing petroleum products was struck on the territory of the oil pumping station.
Every barrel of russian oil sold is a financial resource for continuing the war against Ukraine. That is why we are systematically working to reduce these enemy revenues. The deep rear no longer protects russian strategic facilities, as the SSU has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to operate effectively at significant distances. Therefore, russia must understand: no enterprise involved in supporting the war will remain outside the Security Service’s attention.
