The SSU has opened a new criminal proceeding over the attack on a combined heat and power plant in one of Kyiv’s residential districts.

The targeted russian attack on a civilian facility is a gross violation of laws and customs of war, which has received an appropriate legal qualification: the proceeding was opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, investigators of the SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region are working at the site, investigating all the circumstances and the chain of russians involved in the attack. The SSU is collecting evidence to hold all those who committed this crime to account.
