In carrying out the tasks set by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as part of a systematic effort to degrade russia’s military and economic potential, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Defence Forces, has carried out a series of successful strikes against fuel, energy and military infrastructure facilities in russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian drones hit the Yaroslavl oil refinery and the Yaroslavl production and control station. Explosions and smoke were observed in the vicinity of the refinery.

A successful strike on the oil loading terminal at the Vysotsk Seaport in the Leningrad oblast, russia, has also been confirmed. As a result of the strike, two oil loading jetties were put out of action, and three tanks containing petroleum products were hit.

Drones also struck the First Plant oil refinery in the Kaluga region. A fire broke out at the facility following the explosions.

Separately, the Security Service carried out a successful operation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Three hangars containing aviation equipment at the Hvardiyske airfield were struck. Also targeted were a Pantsir-S2 air defence missile system near Simferopol, a mobile fire support unit in Kerch, a tank containing petroleum products, and a pumping station at the TES-Terminal-1 oil depot.

‘In accordance with the President’s instructions, we are doing everything we can to ensure russia is held accountable for its actions daily. While the enemy continues to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities, we will keep on inflicting significant losses on its military and fuel infrastructure. We are systematically destroying the resources that fuel russia’s war machine, and our efforts in this regard will only intensify,’ emphasised the SSU Chief Yevheniy Khmara.
