In Odesa region, the SBU detained a member of international terrorist organization.

A resident of a Central Asian country was on the wanted list of Interpol for financing of terrorism.

Allegedly, during 2014-2016 the terrorist was recruited by the members of international terrorist organization Islamic State on the territory of Turkey.

In order to avoid prosecution, the offender arrived in Ukraine in violation of rules of entry of Foreigners to Ukraine.

The Court applied to the detainee an extradition arrest.

The operation was carried out jointly with the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Ukraine.
