The SSU and the NABU are conducting a series of searches in the case on a large-scale corruption scheme in Mukachevo City Council in Zakarpattia region.

The law enforcement agencies are investigating the transfer of a part of the city’s central sports complex to private ownership.

According to preliminary estimates, this transaction could have caused losses to the state of almost UAH 100 mln (USD 2.6 mln).

Investigative actions, including in the Mukachevo City Council’s administrative buildings, are currently underway within the previously initiated criminal proceedings.

The investigation is carried out under the procedural supervision of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
