SSU and National Police detain four collaborators in Kherson who cooperated with russia during occupation of right bank Kherson region
The Security Service and National Police have apprehended another four collaborators in Kherson who cooperated with russian forces during the occupation of the city.
One of them is the chief specialist of one of the departments of Kherson City Council.
During the capture of the city, she worked as a private accountant, but later voluntarily joined russia’s occupation administration.
There, the woman headed a unit in the so-called ‘labour and social protection department’.
While in the ‘position’, the collaborator passed personal data of local residents to the occupation ‘election commissions’ for the purpose of holding a fake russian referendum.
After the liberation of Kherson, the collaborator went into hiding and later, concealing the fact of her collaboration with the aggressor, got a job at the city council.
Two other perpetrators are local residents who joined the ‘administration’ of the occupation prisons after Kherson was captured.
One of the collaborators became the ‘assistant’ to the head of the local russian ‘detention center’.
As part of this pseudo-institution, he guarded prison cells where the occupiers brought members of the resistance movement.
Another traitor voluntarily agreed to guard the perimeter of the occupation prison, which the aggressor created in a captured correctional colony.
The fourth perpetrator is another resident of Kherson who joined the occupying ‘russian ministry of internal affairs’ at the beginning of the full-scale war.
Becoming an ‘inspector of the analysis, planning and accounting group’, the collaborator helped lead armed groups of ruscists to the homes of Ukrainian patriots.
The detained individuals have been notified of suspicion under Article 111-1.5, 111-1.7 of the CCU (collaboration).
The suspects are in custody without bail and face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The operations and investigations were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kherson and Chernihiv regions in cooperation with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Offices.
