SSU and Prosecutor’s Office serve notice of suspicion in absentia to Kadyrovite company commander, native of Dnipropetrovsk region
The Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence against a ruscist who commanded a company of attack drones belonging to the russian special forces unit ‘Akhmat’ in the Kursk region in 2025.
Following a special operation on the border at that time, the SSU’s Special Operations Centre Alfa located and destroyed the enemy unit’s base.
The company commander’s identity was also established. At the time of the Ukrainian unit’s attack, he was away from the base.
As has been established, he is a former resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region who moved to the Donetsk region before 2014 and remained there after the aggressor state occupied the area.
There, he voluntarily joined the russia-controlled terrorist groups and fought against the Anti-Terrorist Forces in eastern Ukraine.
Following the start of the full-scale war, the traitor joined the russian ministry of defence and was subsequently appointed to a post in the ‘Akhmat’ regiment, where he was assigned to the ‘Aid’ unit.
Shortly afterwards, the russian command appointed him commander of a strike UAV company and deployed him to the Kursk region.
From December 2025, the russian units under his command attacked the positions of the Defence Forces in the Sumy region using russian ‘Molniya’ drones and hexacopters.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators have notified the perpetrator of suspicion in absentia under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
Efforts are underway to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in the Sumy region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
