SSU strikes hangars housing fighter jets at Saky military airfield in Crimea

As part of a 40-day operation to exert pressure on russia, the Security Service carried out a successful strike on the Saky military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, in accordance with the orders of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The operation targeted the airfield’s infrastructure, specifically hangars with fighter jets.

Five hits by SSU drones on hangars housing aircraft have been confirmed.

According to preliminary reports, two of the hangars contained Su-30 and Su-30SM fighter jets at the time of the strike. Following the strike, a fire was reported in the hangar housing the Su-30SM, indicating a successful destruction.

The estimated value of each aircraft ranges from USD 30 to 50 million, depending on configuration.

The SSU is systematically destroying the russian occupiers’ military capabilities both on the front line and behind enemy lines. No hangars or storage facilities will help – the Security Service of Ukraine will reach the adversary anywhere.
