SSU strikes two russian oil depots in Tver region and Stavropol Krai

On the night of 9 July, the Security Service of Ukraine successfully struck two russian oil infrastructure facilities. The special operation was conducted in fulfilment of the tasks set by the President of Ukraine to degrade the aggressor state's military and economic potential.

The first target was the Chervona Zoria (Krasnaya Zarya) oil depot in the Tver Region, located 520 km from Ukraine’s border. Hits from Ukrainian strike UAVs were recorded at the site, after which a fire broke out.

The second target was the Stavropolskaya oil depot in the Stavropol Krai, located more than 500 km from Ukraine. A large-scale fire broke out at the facility and is spreading rapidly.

Both oil depots ensure the reception, storage, and distribution of motor petrol and diesel fuel.

The Security Service of Ukraine continues to systematically target the russian oil sector – a key source of funding for the war against Ukraine.
