SSU strikes Tamanneftegaz – key hydrocarbon transhipment complex in southern russia

On the orders of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the SSU Special Operations Centre Alfa, in conjunction with the Special Operations Forces and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, has successfully carried out strikes on the Tamanneftogaz oil and gas terminal in the Krasnodar krai, russia.

This is the largest complex for the transhipment of liquefied hydrocarbons in southern russia. SSU drones hit five tanks containing petroleum products in the tank farm, as well as two oil loading stands at the terminal.

There are also fires burning in the Tamanneftogaz freight transport depot and storage facilities, russian air defence positions protecting the facility were also hit.

The russian oil and gas complex is a source of funding for the war against Ukraine. It is these oil revenues that are funding the production of missiles, drones and ammunition with which the adversary is attacking our cities. This is why the Security Service of Ukraine will continue to systematically deprive the russian war machine of the resources it needs.
