SSU strikes Vtorovo oil pumping station, supplying fuel to moscow, second time in month

As part of the 40-day operation to exert pressure on russia, the SSU Special Operations Centre Alfa has carried out successful strikes on the Vtorovo production and control station in the Vladimir oblast, russia, carrying out the tasks set by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The station is part of JSC Transneft-Upper Volga and plays a key role in the logistics of transferring light petroleum products to export ports and domestic consumers. It transports diesel fuel to the moscow ring oil products pipeline and on to large oil depots around russia’s capital. The station also supplies oil products for export via Baltic Sea ports.

According to preliminary information, SSU drones struck technical buildings at the facility, after which an explosion occurred.

The previous SSU drone attack on Vtorovo took place on 10 June this year.

The Security Service of Ukraine will continue to carry out special operations against russian strategic targets that support its war economy. The adversary must feel the consequences of its aggression not only on the battlefield but also in its budget, logistics, and export revenues. Each target that is attacked represents a reduction in resources for waging war, and a higher price that the kremlin is forced to pay for continuing its aggression.
