Investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine have launched a criminal investigation into the russian strike on depots in the village of Myla in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, and the subsequent detonation of the ammunition.

The pre-trial investigation is conducted under the Articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

• 437 (crime of aggression);
• 425 (negligence in military service).

At least 37 people were killed as a result of the strike by a russian Geran-4 drone and the subsequent detonation of ammunition.

Around 130 houses and a number of civilian facilities have also been damaged.

The Security Service has been working at the scene from the very first minutes after the attack, setting up a command centre to coordinate efforts to contain the emergency.

Investigators and prosecutors are establishing the full circumstances of the tragedy.
