SSU identifies ruscist who produced over 13,000 russian Shahed drones for russian army

The investigators of the SSU have gathered evidence on a russian businessman who manufactured and supplied more than 13,000 Geran attack drones, a russian version of Iranian Shahed, to the russian armed forces.

The person in question is Timur Shagivaleyev, general director of the Alabuga special economic zone of industrial and production type.

According to the investigation, the official organized mass production of attack drones at the facilities of this enterprise in 2023.

russia massively and regularly uses these weapons to strike Ukraine, including our civilian infrastructure.

This results in the deaths of people, including children, and injuries of varying severity, as well as destruction of buildings, property and other civilian infrastructure.

Based on the evidence collected by SSU investigators, Shagivaleyev was declared suspect in absentia under Articles 27.5, 28.2, 437.2 of the CCU (aiding and abetting in the conduct of aggressive war, upon prior conspiracy, by a group).

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

Efforts are underway to bring to justice all those responsible for crimes against Ukraine.
