SBU finds cache of LNR subversive group

In Luhansk region, the SBU discovered a hidden arsenal with weapons and ammunition of a fugitive IAF subversive. The seized inventory included submunitions of a Konkurs anti-tank missile system.

The caches equipped on the premises of a private house in the town of Pryvillia, in particular, contained:

  • 60 grenade launchers;
  • 2 RPG-22 anti-tank rocket-propelled grenades;
  • two anti-tank grenades;
  • a hand cumulative grenade;
  • submunitions for grenade launchers;
  • a large number of various caliber rounds.

According to findings, the offender equipped a cache in 2014 during combat actions near the towns of ​​Pryvillia and Lysychansk. As a member of a hostile subversive group, he took an active part in an armed conflict with the anti-terrorist operation forces.

The offender was served a suspicion notice for participation in the activities of armed groups not provided by law.

The operation was conducted in cooperation with the National Police.
