SSU exposes blogger who filmed SSU Lviv Office and called to strike it with missiles
In ‘hot pursuit’, the SSU Internal Security unit detained a ruscists’ supporter who publicly called for an attack on the SSU’s regional office in Lviv.
The man urged to use missiles to hit the building.
To disseminate such calls, he broadcast online on his Instagram page near the SSU Lviv Office.
During the stream, the ‘blogger’ and his accomplice abroad discredited SSU officers and called for an attack on them with russian weapons.
The destructive content was disseminated among his 1,700-subscribers.
According to the investigation, the perpetrators were two Lviv residents claiming to be bloggers. One of them is currently in one of the EU states, from where he periodically joins the streams of his ‘colleague’ in Ukraine.
During the searches of the suspects’ homes, the SSU found computer equipment and mobile phones with evidence of the provocative video recording.
SSU investigators are to serve notices of suspicion to the individuals in question.
The investigation is underway.
The SSU exposed the offenders under the procedural supervision of the Specialized Defence Prosecutor’s Office of the Western Region.
