SSU exposed the militants of the illegal armed formations of the so-called L/DNR on launching Russian-made drones. During the investigation, the SSU documented the hostile drone, used for shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine positions.

The drone was intercepted on the contact line. The militants applied the item for reconnaissance and fire spotting of Ukrainian positions.

The experts estimated the intercepted drone to be a Grenade-1 combat drone produced at Russian military industrial complex.

The investigations of act of terrorism and violation of rules of the warfare are ongoing.

Furthermore, the SSU transferred two intercepted on the contact line hostile drones to the examination.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Main Directorate in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor`s Office.
