The SBU, jointly with the NABU and under the procedural supervision of the SAPO, exposed the Head of Kharkiv District Administrative Court on giving a bribe.

Allegedly, the official compelled a judge to pass the necessary sentence in the administrative case referred to land dispute. For this, the Head of the Court gave him USD 3,000.

The investigation is ongoing to establish other possible facts of corruption and involvement of court staff in unlawful activity. The issue of serving the Head of the Court a notice of suspicion of giving a bribe is being settled.

The SBU jointly with other law enforcement agencies continues to actively work in order to eradicate corruption in the judicial branch.
