The SBU officers exposed the chief of the Territorial Office of the State Judicial Administration in Rivne region and his deputy on misappropriation of salaries and forgery in office.

Reportedly, the chief of the Territorial Office illegally received a salary for the supposedly worked-out working days. In fact, the official was outside the region dealing with personal matters and did not perform any official duties for a long time. To cover up these violations and to receive illegal financial gain, he involved a deputy and several subordinates who forged time sheet.

The chief of the Regional Office and his deputy were served notices of suspicion of misappropriation and forgery in office, committed by prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 3 of Art. 191, Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation is ongoing. Other facts of abuse by the officials are being checked.
