SSU neutralizes over 160 enemy sabotage groups and declares 1,000 persons suspects in cases on crimes against state security (video)

These are the results of the SSU’s work in protecting state security since the start of russia’s full-scale aggression.

One of the latest special operations is the elimination of russian agents that were preparing terrorist attacks in Southern Ukraine.

In particular, the SSU detained an enemy agent who carried out reconnaissance of deployment of Ukrainian artillery and special forces on the Southern front.

He was also preparing to carry out terrorist attacks on the territory of military garrisons and critical infrastructure facilities.

During the searches, the law enforcement seized from the agent weapons and a mobile phone for contacting a representative of russian special services.

In Rivne region:

The SSU Counterintelligence detained an enemy agent recruited by the occupiers on the eve of russia’s full-scale invasion.

Tasked by the invaders, he collected personal data of Ukrainian defenders, including units where they serve and addresses of participants of the ATO/JFO.

The enemy planned to use this information to carry out a series of attacks on the servicemen of Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In Khmelnytskyi:

The SSU detained an agent, who has recently been reactivated by the FSB. The traitor was gathering intelligence to help the enemy launch missile strikes on strategically important facilities in the region.

The suspect was detained while trying to pass intelligence to the invaders.

In Dnipropetrovsk region:

The SSU exposed an administrator of Internet communities who justified russian aggression and occupiers’ war crimes. The woman was part of a group of campaigners created by russian special services to spread kremlin’s propaganda in Ukraine, Belarus and Transnistria.

She spread such ‘publications’ on specialized Internet platforms and social networks, including those banned in our country.

For performing these tasks, the woman received money through non-bank payment systems.

In addition, one of Kyiv courts sentenced a russian agent, who adjusted enemy rocket attacks on energy and water supply facilities, to 8 years in prison. The agent was detained by the SSU in May this year.

The investigation established that he had been recruited in 2014, had received russian passport and then had been put on ‘standby’.

Since the start of russia’s full-scale aggression, the spy began to carry out the enemy’s instructions.

Urgent investigative and operative activities are underway on all the revealed crimes in order to identify and bring to justice all those involved.
