SSU exposes another 5 pro-russian agitators, including one in contact with russian general

The SSU has neutralized a new network of pro-kremlin agitators operating in several regions of Ukraine. One of them has already been sentenced to prison.

The enemy accomplices praised russia’s occupation forces, justified their war crimes and called for a seizure of entire Ukraine.

In Odesa region:

Following an investigation by the SSU, a supporter of ruscism who was in constant communication with colonel-general Igor Ilyash, deputy director of the russian guard, has been sentenced to 6 years in prison.

The perpetrator had been friends with him since their youth, when they lived together in Odesa.

In telephone conversations with Ilyash, he called for a seizure of the city and all of Ukraine.

The traitor also passed to the russian general information on consequences of enemy strikes on Odesa.

In Kyiv:

The SSU uncovered an enemy agitator who spread pro-kremlin narratives posing as a journalist and a human rights activist. He urged people to evade mobilization and tried to discredit the Security and Defence Forces.

To do this, he stirred up artificial conflicts with law enforcement officers and the military on the streets and in public reception areas of state institutions.

The individual recorded his provocations on a mobile phone and posted the videos on YouTube and his social media pages with a total audience of over 12,000 subscribers.

In Cherkasy region:

An employee of the local Ukrzaliznytsia branch has been exposed on subversion. The woman was disseminating the kremlin’s lies about the war among her colleagues and friends.

She also glorified the aggressor and spread disinformation on the servicemen of the Defence Forces.

In the spring of 2022, she moved to Cherkasy region from the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk oblast and later began to look for ways to travel to russia.

In Poltava region:

Another two enemy agitators were uncovered: on their social media pages they supported the occupation of Ukraine. In the posts, the two women tried to discredit the Defence Forces and glorified the ‘russian world’.

The investigations are ongoing.

The operations were carried out under the procedural supervision of regional prosecutor’s offices.
