SSU uncovers another five supporters of ruscism who praised russia’s war against Ukraine
The SSU has stopped anti-Ukrainian activities of another five pro-kremlin Internet agitators in several regions of Ukraine. Three supporters of ruscism were detained, and two have already received real prison sentences.
In Donetsk region:
Two authors of anti-Ukrainian publications in the russian Odnoklassniki social network have been detained.
One of them is an enemy agitator from the frontline town of Myrnohrad. Despite the constant shelling of his city by russia, the man was waiting for the occupiers, glorifying their crimes and trying to discredit Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
Another perpetrator lived in the town of Rodynske and hoped for a complete capture of the region. He wrote public posts in support of the russian troops fighting near Pokrovsk and advocated the complete disarmament of Ukraine.
In Mykolaiv region:
A resident of Pervomaisk was detained for spreading calls on the Internet for a coup d'état in our country. He used his YouTube channel and Facebook page with a total audience of over 10,000 users to spin the hostile content.
On these platforms, he campaigned for the seizure of administrative buildings of state institutions and creation of so-called ‘alternative’ authorities.
In Cherkasy region:
A pro-kremlin agitator from Uman district, detained in the winter of 2023, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison. The woman praised putin and justified seizure of Ukrainian territory.
To spread moscow’s narratives, she created dozens of profiles on social media, which she secretly registered as her friends.
In Khmelnytskyi:
A local resident has been convicted to 5 years in prison for posting videos on his Vkontakte page, produced by kremlin propagandists, promoting Kadyrov and his militant groups.
The operations and investigations were conducted by the SSU Offices in Donetsk and Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy and Khmelnytskyi regions under the procedural supervision of regional prosecutors.
