SSU exposes six pro-russian agitators including propagandist who wrote 100,000 comments calling for killing Ukrainians
The Security Service of Ukraine has identified another six pro-kremlin agitators operating in several regions of Ukraine. They publicly justified russia’s armed aggression and incited inter-ethnic and religious hatred.
In Kyiv, the law enforcement detained a female propagandist, who published almost 100,000 posts on Telegram channels between 2025 and 2026, including calls to kill Ukrainians.
She also incited violence against one of the country’s ethnic minorities. In particular, she called for the destruction of places of worship belonging to religious communities.
In Mykolaiv, the SSU’s cyber units detained another agitator working on instructions of the russian handler.
At his direction, the individual managed a local Telegram channel with over 13,000 subscribers, openly supporting the aggressor state.
The suspect has been documented creating content that promoted russian propaganda and disseminated destructive messages that threatened Ukraine’s information security.
In the Cherkasy region, the wife of a church rector belonging to the Ukrainian orthodox church (moscow patriarchate) was exposed for praising putin in Telegram chats and denying russia’s armed aggression.
It has been established that she disseminated enemy propaganda amongst her acquaintances and in texting with parishioners.
A russian citizen with a Ukrainian residence permit has also been declared a suspect in the region.
On Telegram channels, he referred to the full-scale war as an ‘internal civil conflict’ and supported the seizure of part of the territory in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
In Zakarpattia, two more female agitators were identified who called for the ‘separation’ of Zakarpattia from Ukraine via their own social media accounts. They also disseminated pro-kremlin narratives and justified russia’s armed aggression.
Expert analyses initiated by the SSU confirmed that these individuals had engaged in subversive information activities on behalf of russia.
SSU investigators notified the perpetrators of their status as suspects under several Articles of the CCU, depending on the suspects’ actions:
