SSU detains another two enemy spotters in Kharkiv region, including one recruited by FSB with offer of ‘close relationship’

The SSU has apprehended another two agents of russia’s federal security service in Kharkiv region.

They were collecting coordinates of AFU control points, fortifications and firing positions.

One of the aggressor’s informants is a 35-year-old contract servicewoman of a military unit stationed in Kharkiv region.

The woman was recruited through Telegram channels, where she was contacted by the FSB. The handler posed as an ordinary man and offered a close relationship.

Working as a radio-telegraph operator, the traitor used her position to collect locations of the Defence Forces in Kharkiv and adjacent areas.

She also walked around the city, covertly recording locations of Ukrainian defenders.

Another spotter is a pro-kremlin blogger from Kupiansk district who administered a Telegram channel of the FSB.

In the channel, he posted geolocations of Ukrainian troops near Kupiansk.

The blogger called on his subscribers to provide information on the locations and movements of Ukraine’s Defence Forces in the area.

During the searches, mobile phones with evidence of sabotage against Ukraine were seized from both perpetrators.

SSU investigators notified the detained individuals of suspicion under Article 114-2.2, 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on transfer, movement or location of the AFU or other lawful military formations, committed under martial law).

The suspects are in custody without bail and face 8 to 12 years in prison.

The operations were carried out by the SSU Kharkiv Office under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office and the Specialized Defense Prosecutor’s Office of the Eastern Region.
