SSU apprehends another FSB spotter helping occupiers bomb Slovyansk

The SSU Counterintelligence has detained another enemy agent in Donetsk oblast. On behalf of russia’s federal security service, he helped russia carry out their missile, bomb, and drone attacks on Sloviansk.

The traitor’s main task was to find and transmit the coordinates of the locations of the Defence Forces units in the Lyman and Kramatorsk sectors.

As the investigation established, the enemy accomplice turned out to be a 68-year-old local resident who contacted the FSB through their specialised chatbot.

After recruitment, the asset began travelling around the frontline city and its suburbs on public buses, recording the locations of military personnel.

The SSU exposed the perpetrator at an early stage, documented his crime, and detained him. Simultaneously, action was taken to protect Ukrainian units.

A smartphone with evidence of the suspect’s actions on russia’s behalf was seized during the search.

SSU investigators have notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The spotter faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
